Government Medical College, Handwara, is a public State Government Medical College located in Handwara, Jammu & Kashmir (J&K). It is one of the newest medical colleges established in the Union Territory, receiving its Letter of Permission (LOP) for the first batch in 2022. It was sanctioned under a centrally sponsored scheme to enhance medical education and tertiary healthcare in remote districts.
