Established in 2021, Government Medical College (GMC) Kanker is a state-run medical institution located in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh. Officially known as Late Smt. Indira Gandhi Memorial Government Medical College, it was founded to strengthen healthcare and medical education in the tribal and rural regions of southern Chhattisgarh. It is affiliated with Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University, Raipur, and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
