New Valley University (NVU) is one of Egypt's newest public universities, officially established as an independent institution in 2018 after formerly serving as a branch of Assiut University. The Faculty of Medicine, located in Kharga Oasis (the capital of the New Valley Governorate), was inaugurated to expand high-quality medical services and education to the southwestern part of Egypt.
