The Stanley Medical College (SMC) is one of the oldest and most prestigious Government Medical Colleges in India, located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. With a history tracing back over two centuries, it was formally established as a medical school in 1938. SMC is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
