General Information

The Faculty of Medicine at Utrecht University is one of the oldest and biggest in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1636. It is completely connected to the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMC Utrecht), which is on the Utrecht Science Park. The faculty is a world leader in Life Sciences and is known for its cutting-edge CRU+ (Clinical Research Utrecht) curriculum, which focuses on getting students involved in clinical work early on and combining research with medical practice.


General Information

  • You will get a B.Sc. in Medicine (3 years) and an M.Sc. in Medicine (3 years). Six years in total.

  • Selection: Very competitive Numerus Fixus program. The process for getting in is decentralized and includes both cognitive and non-cognitive tests.

  • Language: To get a medical degree, you must be fluent in Dutch (NT2-II).
