Vaishno Devi Medical College Loses MBBS Approval for Academic Year

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has withdrawn the MBBS course approval for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence due to non-compliance with prescribed academic and infrastructure standards. The decision was taken after an official review and inspection process conducted by the regulatory authority.

According to the latest update, students who were already admitted under the MBBS program will be accommodated by transferring them to other recognized medical colleges to ensure their education is not disrupted. The authorities have assured that the transition process will follow NMC guidelines to safeguard students’ academic interests.

Aspiring medical students are advised to regularly check official NMC notifications and choose colleges with confirmed approvals before participating in counselling or admission processes. AMW Career Point will continue to monitor developments and share verified updates related to MBBS admissions and medical education in India.
