General Information

The Ravenna medical program is one of the newest additions to the Alma Mater Studiorum’s "Romagna Salute" network, having launched its inaugural cycle in October 2021. Nestled in the historic city of Ravenna famous for its Byzantine mosaics this campus offers a unique integration of high-level medical training within a culturally rich, "human-scale" city. The program follows the Italian 6-year single-cycle degree (Laurea Magistrale a ciclo unico) and is characterized by a close-knit learning community and immediate integration with the AUSL Romagna healthcare network. It focuses on modernizing medical education through early clinical exposure and a curriculum deeply tied to the region’s specialized medical hubs.
