Established in 2024, Autonomous State Medical College (ASMC), Amethi is one of the newest government medical institutions in Uttar Pradesh. It was established under the state government's "one district, one medical college" initiative to strengthen tertiary healthcare and medical education in the Amethi region. The college is affiliated with King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Associated Hospital: The college is currently attached to a 200-bed hospital in Rastamau, Tiloi.
