Established in 2024, Autonomous State Medical College (ASMC), Kanpur Dehat (also known as ASMC Akbarpur) is a newly established government medical institution in Uttar Pradesh. It was founded as part of the state's mission to establish a medical college in every district, aimed at enhancing medical education and providing specialized healthcare to the rural and semi-urban population of Kanpur Dehat. The college is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
