Established in 1969, Baba Raghav Das (BRD) Medical College, Gorakhpur is a premier government medical institution in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, often referred to as the lifeline of the "Purvanchal" region. Named after the renowned freedom fighter and Sarvodaya leader Baba Raghav Das, the college was established to provide tertiary healthcare to a vast population across Eastern UP, Bihar, and Nepal.
