Established in 1984 as the Ludwik Rydygier Medical University and later incorporated into the Nicolaus Copernicus University (UMK) in Toruń in 2004, Collegium Medicum is the primary medical education hub for the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region. Located in Bydgoszcz, it is the youngest and most dynamic medical university in Poland, known for its high-tech clinical base and strong international focus through its Centre for Medical Education in English.
