• Services: Provides comprehensive healthcare services across almost all clinical specialties and numerous super-specialties. It features 24x7 Emergency & Trauma, advanced Critical Care (ICUs), modern Operation Theatres, a licensed Blood Bank, and extensive OPD/IPD services.

• Educational Engine: The BSA Hospital is the core clinical training ground for MBBS students and postgraduate residents, offering extensive, high-volume patient exposure essential for medical training.

Admissions Process: NEET & Central/State Counselling

• Getting Admitted (MBBS/MD/MS): Admission is strictly and exclusively based on qualifying ranks in NEET-UG (for MBBS) or NEET-PG (for MD/MS).

• Counselling Process: Seat allotment is handled by two different bodies:

• 15% All India Quota (AIQ): Seats are filled through the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) counselling, open to students from all over India.

• 85% State Quota (Delhi Pool): Seats are reserved for students who have completed their 11th and 12th standard education in schools affiliated with GGSIPU in Delhi. These seats are filled through the GGSIPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) Counselling process.

Career Pathways & Placements

• Career Path: As a government medical college, the career path for graduates is excellent.

• Internship: MBBS graduates complete a mandatory 1-year rotatory internship at the BSA Hospital, for which they receive a stipend (approx. ₹26,300 per month).

• Bond (PG): A mandatory service bond (e.g., 2 years) with a significant penalty clause (e.g., ₹10-15 Lakhs) may apply to postgraduate (MD/MS) graduates.

• Post-Graduation: The clinical exposure at BSAH makes graduates highly competitive for PG seats (via NEET-PG) or immediately employable as Medical Officers.
