The college is attached to its own large government hospital that serves as its primary teaching facility.

• Scale & Services: This is a major tertiary care referral hospital for ESI beneficiaries and the general public in the Delhi-NCR and Haryana region.

• Capacity: A large hospital with 510 beds (as per NMC data).

• Services: Provides comprehensive healthcare services across almost all clinical specialties. It features 24x7 Emergency & Trauma, advanced Critical Care (ICUs), modern Operation Theatres, a licensed Blood Bank, and extensive OPD/IPD services.

Educational Engine: The ESIC Hospital is the core clinical training ground for MBBS students and postgraduate residents, offering extensive, high-volume patient exposure essential for medical training.

Fee Structure: Dual Fee Structure (IP Quota vs. Gen)

The fee structure at ESIC Faridabad is unique, with highly subsidized fees for wards of Insured Persons (IP Quota).

Campus Living: Hostel Facilities

• Accommodation: Separate hostel blocks are available for male and female students (UGs, PGs, Interns).

• Dining: Mess facilities are available for all hostellers.

• Cost: Hostel and mess fees are additional to the tuition fees but are highly economical, especially for the IP Quota students.

• Mess Charges (Monthly): Paid monthly based on actual expenses, typically ranging from ~₹3,500 to ₹5,000 per month.

Admissions Process: NEET & Central/State Counselling

• Getting Admitted (MBBS/MD/MS): Admission is strictly and exclusively based on qualifying ranks in NEET-UG (for MBBS) or NEET-PG (for MD/MS).

• Counselling Process: Seat allotment is handled by two major bodies:

• 15% All India Quota (AIQ): Seats are filled through the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) counselling, open to students from all over India.

• 35% IP Quota (Insured Persons): Seats are reserved for the wards of ESI Insured Persons and are filled centrally by the MCC. Candidates must obtain an 'IP Ward Certificate' from ESIC to be eligible.

• 50% State Quota: Seats are reserved for students with Haryana domicile and are filled through the DMER (Directorate of Medical Education and Research), Haryana state counselling.

Career Pathways & Placements

• Career Path: As a central government medical college, the career path for graduates is excellent.

• Internship: MBBS graduates complete a mandatory 1-year rotatory internship at the ESIC Hospital, for which they receive a stipend (approx. ₹26,300 per month).

• Bond: A service bond (e.g., 1 year of service in ESIC hospitals) with a penalty clause often applies to graduates admitted under the highly subsidized IP Quota.

• Post-Graduation: The clinical exposure at the ESIC Hospital makes graduates highly competitive for PG seats (via NEET-PG) or immediately employable as Medical Officers in the ESI health service, state/central government jobs, or private hospitals.
