Established in 2013, the ESIC Medical College and PGIMSR (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Research) is a centrally funded government institution under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. Located in the heart of Chennai at K.K. Nagar, it evolved from the long-standing ESI Hospital that has served insured workers for over three decades. It is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and is fully recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
