General Information
Established in 2025, ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur is a premier central government institution under the Ministry of Labour & Employment. Located in the Sodala area, it was established to provide high-quality medical education and tertiary healthcare primarily to the wards of Insured Persons (IP) under the ESI scheme, as well as the general public. The college is affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Admission Requirements:
Selection: Based on NEET-UG scores via centralized counseling.
Counseling: Conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the 15% All India Quota and IP Quota, and by the State Counseling Authority for the 85% State Quota.
Special Quota: Features the "Wards of Insured Persons (IP)" quota specifically for children of employees covered under the ESI scheme.
Intake: 50 seats per academic year.

State University Affordability
Following the standard ESIC model, the fees are highly subsidized, especially for students under the IP quota.

Scholarships

Internship Stipend: During the mandatory one-year rotation, students receive a monthly stipend (currently approx. ₹18,000 – ₹23,500) as per central government norms.

Miscellaneous
Service Bond: Candidates may be required to sign a mandatory service bond (as per ESIC rules) to serve in ESIC institutions for a specific period after graduation or pay the specified penalty.
