The Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Agadir (FMPA), part of the Ibn Zohr University (UIZ), is a key public institution in southern Morocco. Established in 2016, it was created to bolster the regional healthcare system and provide high-level medical education in the Souss-Massa region.

Leading tertiary care hospital attached to the institution
CHU Mohammed VI Agadir: This is the primary university hospital center, located on a 30-hectare site near the faculty. It is a state-of-the-art hub with a capacity of over 860 beds.
Hassan II Regional Hospital: Used for clinical rotations while the full CHU complex completes its final integration phases.
Clinical Experience: Students gain hands-on training starting in their 3rd year, covering specialties like cardiology, oncology, and emergency medicine.
State University Affordability
Moroccan Students: Tuition is free at this public institution. Small administrative fees (approx. 500 MAD) apply annually.
International Students (AMCI Track): Most foreign students enter via the AMCI (Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation). Under this scholarship quota, tuition is free, and a monthly stipend is often provided.
