General Information
The Government Erode Medical College & Hospital (GEMCH), located in Perundurai, is a major Government Medical College in Tamil Nadu. It was formerly known as IRT Perundurai Medical College (IRT PMC) and was taken over by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Established in 1986 (as IRT), GEMCH is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
