• State Counselling is Key (Andhra Pradesh): Seat allotment is handled entirely through the Andhra Pradesh State Centralized Counselling Process conducted by Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences (YSRUHS).

• 15% All India Quota (AIQ): Seats are filled through the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) counselling, open to students from all over India.

• 85% State Quota (Competent Authority): The remaining seats are filled through the YSRUHS (AP-NEET) state counselling, which includes Govt. Quota, Management Quota (in new govt. colleges), and NRI Quota seats.

Career Pathways & Placements

• Career Path: As a new government medical college, the career path is well-defined.

• Internship: After 4.5 years, MBBS graduates will complete a mandatory 1-year rotatory internship at the Government General Hospital, Eluru, for which they will receive a stipend as per state government norms.

• Post-Graduation: Graduates will be eligible to appear for the NEET-PG exam to pursue postgraduate specialization (MD/MS) or can become Medical Officers in government or private service.
