Established in 2025, Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Phulbani is a newly inaugurated state-run medical institution in Odisha. It was established to provide advanced healthcare services and medical education to the tribal-dominated Kandhamal district. The college is affiliated with the Odisha University of Health Sciences (OUHS), Bhubaneswar, and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
