Established in 2025, the Government Medical College (GMC), Tonk, is one of the latest additions to Rajasthan’s medical education sector. Affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the college was established under a Centrally Sponsored Scheme to improve healthcare accessibility in the Tonk district.
