Clinical Training & Hospital Affiliations

The institute emphasizes early clinical immersion. While IPFORMED is a private entity, its students are integrated into Senegal's public and private healthcare ecosystem:

• CHU Network: Rotations are conducted at major Public University Teaching Hospitals in Dakar.

• Specializations: Clinical stages cover Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics-Gynecology.

Community Health: In the final year, students participate in a "Stage Rural" to gain experience in primary care and community-based health management.

Fee Structure (Academic Year 2025-2026)

Hostel & Mess (Accommodation)

IPFORMED is primarily a day-campus.

• Housing: There are no on-campus dormitories. However, the school’s administration provides a list of vetted private student residences and apartments in the safe, residential neighborhoods of Sacré-Cœur, Mermoz, and VDN.

Dining: The campus includes a student rest area, and the surrounding neighborhood is densely packed with diverse dining options ranging from local Senegalese cuisine to international fast-casual dining.

Admission Process for NRI & International Students

IPFORMED follows a structured admission cycle, typically beginning in July and ending in late November.

1. Academic Eligibility

• Candidates must hold a Scientific Baccalaureate (S1 or S2) or an equivalent international qualification (e.g., A-Levels/IB) with strong marks in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

• As the medium of instruction is French, non-francophone students must demonstrate proficiency.
