Jorhat Medical College & Hospital (JMCH) is a public State Government Medical College located in Jorhat, Assam. It is the 4th medical college established by the Government of Assam, inaugurated in 2009 (first MBBS batch admitted in 2010), to enhance medical education and tertiary healthcare services in Upper Assam.
The college is academically affiliated with Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati, which is the state's governing university for all health science colleges. All degrees (MBBS, MD/MS) are awarded by SSUHS.
