Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS) is a top public medical school that is part of Kathmandu University (KU). It was founded in 1994, and the MBBS program started in 2001. It works with Dhulikhel Hospital, a community-focused health care center. Many people know KUSMS for its high academic standards, problem-based learning (PBL) approach, and integrated curriculum.
