The King George's Medical University (KGMU), located in Lucknow, is one of India's oldest, most prestigious, and largest Government Universities dedicated solely to medical education. Established in 1905 as King George's Medical College, it was upgraded to a University in 2002. KGMU is a premier institution in Uttar Pradesh.
