Malda Medical College & Hospital (MMCH) is a public State Government Medical College located in Malda, West Bengal. It was established relatively recently, commencing its first MBBS batch in 2011. Its establishment was a significant move by the Government of West Bengal to expand tertiary healthcare services and medical education in the historically underserved North Bengal region.
The college is academically affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), Kolkata, which is the state's governing university for all health science colleges. All degrees (MBBS, MD/MS) are awarded by WBUHS.
