The college's clinical training is anchored by the premier hospital in Jamshedpur.

Fee Structure: Premium Deemed University Costs

As a constituent medical college of MAHE, fees are at the premium end and are regulated by the MCC.

Campus Living: Hostel Facilities

• Accommodation: Separate hostel blocks are available for male and female students. Accommodation is mandatory for MBBS students for the full duration of the course.

• Amenities: Hostels are modern, well-maintained, and equipped with basic furnishings. AC and Non-AC room options are typically available (single/double sharing).

• Dining: Mess facilities are available for all hostellers.

• Cost: Hostel and mess fees are compulsory and a significant annual expense. Costs range substantially, often between ₹1,50,000 to ₹2,50,000 annually (all-inclusive), depending on AC/Non-AC and sharing.

Admissions Process: NEET & MCC Counselling

• Getting Admitted (MBBS): Admission is strictly and exclusively based on qualifying rank in NEET-UG.

• MCC Counselling is Key: Seat allotment for 100% of seats (General/Management, and NRI Quota) is handled entirely through the centralized counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS, Govt. of India. Candidates must register on the MCC portal, select MAHE, and choose the MTMC Jamshedpur campus.
