General Information

Maseno University School of Medicine (SOM) is the only medical school in the world situated right on the Equator. Established in 2011 and accredited by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC), it was founded to address the critical shortage of healthcare professionals in the Lake Victoria basin and across Kenya.
