The Max Rady College of Medicine at the University of Manitoba is the only medical school in Manitoba and is a leader in Indigenous health, rural medicine, and social accountability. Health Sciences Centre (HSC) Winnipeg: The largest hospital in Manitoba and the primary trauma, cardiac, and transplant center for the province.

Rural Training: All students spend time in rural Manitoba. The Integrated Community Clerkship (ICC) allows select students to spend their entire third year in a smaller community (e.g., Morden/Winkler, Steinbach, or Dauphin).

Annual Tuition (Domestic): Approximately $11,562 – $12,066 CAD per year.
Mandatory Student Fees: Approx. $1,500 – $2,000 CAD per year (includes the U-Pass transit card, health/dental insurance, and athletic fees).

Standardized Tests:

CASPer: Mandatory online situational judgment test.
Indigenous Prerequisite: Completion of a 3-credit hour undergraduate course in Indigenous Studies is a mandatory prerequisite.
