Founded in 1945, the Medical University of Gdańsk (MUG) is the largest medical academic institution in Northern Poland. It is part of the prestigious Fahrenheit Union of Universities in Gdańsk (alongside Gdańsk University of Technology and the University of Gdańsk). MUG is consistently ranked among the top medical schools in Poland, often achieving the status of a "Research University" in national rankings.
