The Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (NIMSR) is the first and sole medical college in Nagaland. Air: Dimapur Airport (DMU) is the nearest domestic airport, approximately 70–75 km away (about a 2.5 to 3-hour drive via the hilly terrain).
Rail: Dimapur Railway Station is the primary railhead connecting Nagaland to the rest of India. It is roughly 74 km from the campus.
