The Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences (NAIHS) is a non-profit medical school that the Welfare Fund of the Nepali Army runs. It opened in 2011. It is in Bhandarkhal, Syanobharyang, Kathmandu, and is part of Tribhuvan University (TU). The college is very well-known for its strict military-style setting, high academic standards, and excellent clinical work. It serves both the children of army personnel and civilian candidates, including international students, mostly from SAARC countries.
