Admissions & Career Pathways

Admission Process

Admission to all courses under Pt. DDU Ayush University is centralized and handled by the state government.

• Primary Gateway (MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BUMS): Admission is strictly based on the rank obtained in the NEET-UG examination.

• State Counselling: Seat allotment for all quotas (State Quota, Management Quota, NRI Quota) in all affiliated colleges is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, through a centralized online counselling process (cgdme.in).

• PG Courses (MD/MS/MDS/AYUSH PG): Admission is based on ranks from NEET-PG, NEET-MDS, and AIAPGET, respectively, also managed via DME counselling.

• Nursing/Paramedical: Admissions are often based on a state-level entrance exam or merit from Class 12, managed by the state's professional examination board or DME.

Placements

As an affiliating university, it does not conduct central placements.

• Career Path: Graduates from its affiliated colleges (MBBS, BAMS, etc.) complete a mandatory 1-year rotatory internship at their respective teaching hospitals.
