PRSU operates from a single, expansive campus in the state capital.

• Location: Situated on Amanaka G.E. Road in the western part of Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

• Campus Size & Vibe: The campus is a vast, 300-acre green space. It has a traditional, established university atmosphere with mature trees, large grounds, and numerous academic and administrative buildings.

• Infrastructure & Facilities:

• Academic Blocks: 29 Schools of Studies (Departments) for postgraduate teaching and research.

• Central Library: A large, 4-story library holding over 1.4 lakh books, 28,000+ theses/dissertations, and 9,000+ e-journals.

• Advanced Laboratories: Well-equipped labs for all science, life science, and pharmacy departments, including a Photonic Research Lab, Advanced Instrumentation Lab, and specialized labs for electronics and biotechnology.

• Hospital Integration: Not Applicable. The university operates an on-campus Health Centre that provides free medical consultations and first-aid to students and staff. It does not have its own medical college or large teaching hospital (medical colleges in Raipur are affiliated with the state's separate Health Sciences University).

Admission Process

Admissions are managed through a mix of university-level and state-level entrance tests.

• On-Campus PG (MA/M.Sc/M.Com/LLM): Admission is primarily based on merit in the university's own Vishwavidyalaya Entrance Test (VET).

• MBA: Admission is based on scores from national exams like CMAT, MAT, CAT, XAT, or ATMA, followed by university-level counselling.

• B.Pharm: Admission is based on the state-level CG PPHT (Chhattisgarh Pre-Pharmacy Test).

• Law (BA LLB): Admission is based on merit in the qualifying exam (Class 12) or sometimes CLAT scores.

• UG (Affiliated Colleges): Admission to most BA, B.Com, and B.Sc programs in affiliated colleges is based on merit in the Class 12 examinations.

• Ph.D.: Admission is through the Vishwavidyalaya Research Entrance Test (VRET), with NET/JRF qualified candidates often exempted from the test.
