Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) is Chhattisgarh's largest and oldest institution of higher education. Established in 1964 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh (before the formation of Chhattisgarh), it is a premier public State University. Named after the first Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, PRSU has been a cornerstone of academia in the region for decades.
