Founded in 1986, Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences is a key public institution in the historic city of Sabzevar, Razavi Khorasan Province. Initially established as a school of nursing and midwifery, it gained independence in 1995 and has since expanded into a comprehensive medical university. Recognized by the WHO, ECFMG, and the Iranian Ministry of Health, SUMS serves as the primary healthcare and medical education hub for western Khorasan.
