Established in October 2018, the School of Medicine (SM) at The Maldives National University (MNU) is the first and only medical school in the Republic of Maldives. The school was founded to reduce the nation's reliance on foreign-trained doctors and to provide a high-quality, locally relevant medical education. It operates under the technical guidance of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and follows their modern, integrated curriculum.

  • Interview: All shortlisted candidates must pass a formal interview and a medical examination.
