As a new college, SABV GMC features brand new, integrated infrastructure.

• Location: The campus is located in Village Chhainsa, Ballabhgarh, Faridabad District, Haryana.

• Campus Size & Vibe: The campus is spread over a vast area (over 100 acres). It is a modern, integrated academic and clinical environment built to house the college, hospital, and residential complex.

• Infrastructure & Facilities:

• Academic Blocks: Features modern, air-conditioned lecture theatres, demonstration rooms, and examination halls built to the latest NMC standards.

• Laboratories: Equipped with new, state-of-the-art labs for all pre-clinical and para-clinical departments (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, etc.).

• Library: A large Central Library provides access to extensive medical collections and digital resources.

Residential Life: Separate hostel facilities are provided on campus for boys and girls (UGs).

Healthcare Pillar: SABV GMC Hospital

The college is attached to its own large, newly established government hospital.

• Flagship Hospital: The Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College Hospital is the constituent teaching hospital, fully integrated with the medical college.

• Scale & Services: This is the primary tertiary care referral hospital for the Ballabhgarh and Faridabad region.

• Capacity: A large hospital with 430+ beds (with future expansion plans).

• Services: Provides comprehensive healthcare services across all major clinical specialties, featuring 24x7 Emergency, Trauma, and Critical Care (ICUs), modern Operation Theatres, and advanced Diagnostic facilities.

Educational Engine: The SABV GMC Hospital is the core clinical training ground for MBBS students, offering essential, high-volume patient exposure crucial for medical training.

Fee Structure: Government Subsidized (with Bond)

As a state government medical college, the fees are extremely low, but tied to a mandatory service bond.

Campus Living: Hostel Facilities

• Accommodation: Separate hostel blocks are available for male and female students. Accommodation is generally available for all students.

• Amenities: Hostels are new, well-maintained, and equipped with basic furnishings.

• Dining: Mess facilities are available for all hostellers.

• Cost: Hostel and mess fees are additional to the tuition fees but are highly economical.

• Hostel Fee (Annual): Nominal (e.g., ~ ₹6,000 - ₹10,000).

Mess Charges (Monthly): Paid monthly based on actual expenses, typically ranging from ~₹3,500 to ₹4,500 per month.

Admissions Process: NEET & State Counselling (Haryana)

• Getting Admitted (MBBS): Admission is strictly and exclusively based on qualifying ranks in NEET-UG.

• State Counselling is Key (Haryana): Seat allotment is handled entirely through the Haryana State Centralized Counselling Process conducted by the Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana.

• 15% All India Quota (AIQ): Seats are filled through the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) counselling, open to students from all over India.

• 85% State Quota: Seats are reserved for students with Haryana domicile and are filled through the DMER, Haryana state counselling.

Career Pathways & Placements

• Career Path: As a government medical college, the career path for graduates is excellent.

• Internship: MBBS graduates will complete a mandatory 1-year rotatory internship at the SABV GMC Hospital, for which they receive a competitive stipend as per state government norms.

• Bond: A mandatory service bond (e.g., 7 years, penalty up to ₹40 Lakhs) with a penalty clause applies to subsidized graduates.

• Post-Graduation: Graduates will be eligible to appear for the NEET-PG exam to pursue postgraduate specialization (MD/MS) or can become Medical Officers in the state health service.
