The Vibe: Established in 2022, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College (SABVGMC) is one of Haryana's newest state-run medical institutions. Located in the Chhainsa village of Faridabad, it was formerly a private medical college that was taken over and revamped by the state government. The 27-acre campus offers a calm, semi-rural academic setting away from the main industrial noise of Faridabad, focusing on modern medical education and intensive rural healthcare research.

Connectivity:

• Air: Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi) is approximately 65–70 km away. Additionally, the upcoming Noida International Airport (Jewar) will be significantly closer (approx. 30 km) once the dedicated link corridors are completed.

• Rail: Faridabad Railway Station is about 25–27 km from the campus. Ballabhgarh Railway Station is a closer alternative at roughly 20 km.

• Road: The college is situated in Chhainsa, Ballabhgarh. It is accessible via the Faridabad-Jewar road and is about 6–7 km from the nearest major bus stand.

Admissions Process: NEET & State Counselling (Haryana)

• Getting Admitted (MBBS): Admission is strictly and exclusively based on qualifying ranks in NEET-UG.

• State Counselling is Key (Haryana): Seat allotment is handled entirely through the Haryana State Centralized Counselling Process conducted by the Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana.

• 15% All India Quota (AIQ): Seats are filled through the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) counselling, open to students from all over India.

• 85% State Quota: Seats are reserved for students with Haryana domicile and are filled through the DMER, Haryana state counselling.
