Tinsukia Medical College & Hospital (TMCH) is a public State Government Medical College located in Makum, Tinsukia district, Assam. It is the 13th medical college established by the Government of Assam, a major step in expanding tertiary healthcare access and medical education in the Upper Assam region.
The college was formally inaugurated by the Prime Minister in March 2024, with its first academic session (2024-25) admitting students. It is academically affiliated with Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati, which is the state's governing university for all health science colleges. All degrees (MBBS) are awarded by SSUHS.
