Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) is the first and only public State Government Medical College in Arunachal Pradesh. Established in 2018, its foundation marked a historic milestone for the state, aiming to provide quality medical education and tertiary healthcare services to its geographically diverse and remote populations.
The institute is named in honor of Tomo Riba, the second Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. It is academically affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), Itanagar, which is the central university of the state. All degrees are awarded by RGU.

15% All India Quota (AIQ): Seats are filled through the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) counselling, open to students from all over India.
