Established in 2024, the Bolzano branch of Università Cattolica represents a strategic expansion of the prestigious "Agostino Gemelli" Faculty of Medicine into the South Tyrol (Alto Adige) region. This campus was created through a partnership between the university, the Province of Bolzano, and the local healthcare authority to address the need for highly skilled, multilingual physicians. The program offers the same elite medical training as the Rome campus but with a specific focus on Medicine and Surgery (English-taught). It is officially recognized by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and the EU, allowing graduates to practice across Europe and qualify for ECFMG certification in the USA.
