Standardized Tests:
MCAT: Minimum score of 125 in each section (with an allowance of 124 in one section). MCAT is a threshold requirement, not a competitive ranking tool here.
Prerequisites: 2 Full-Course Equivalents (FCEs) in Life Sciences and 1 FCE in Social Sciences, Humanities, or Languages.
Non-Academic: Evaluation of the Autobiographical Sketch (ABS), brief personal essays, and references based on the CANMeds clusters (Professional, Communicator, etc.).
Interview: Shortlisted candidates attend the Modified Personal Interview (MPI), consisting of four brief independent interviews.
Quota Note: Starting in 2026, Ontario medical schools are required to allocate at least 95% of seats to Ontario residents.
