The clinical training for Uzima students is primarily based at the region’s largest referral hospital.

• Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching & Referral Hospital (JOOTRH): The primary teaching hospital where students undergo intensive clinical clerkships in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and OB-GYN.
• Uzima Medical Clinic: An accredited private clinic within the university used for basic inpatient and outpatient services.
• Catholic Church Health Facilities: Students often rotate through various mission-based health centers within the Archdiocese of Kisumu.

• Admission Requirements (MBChB):
• KCSE: Minimum Mean Grade of B (Plain) with at least B (Plain) in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics, and English/Swahili.
• Alternate Entry: Diploma in medical-related courses with a Mean Grade of C+ in KCSE.
• Research Focus: The school is heavily involved in HIV infection prevalence research in the Lake region.
